 What makes "Knives Out" (2019) a good mystery movie?


"Knives Out" is a great mystery movie because it has a puzzling story with lots of interesting characters and a detective trying to figure out what happened. The movie keeps you guessing until the end with unexpected twists and clever clues. The big house where everything happens adds to the classic mystery feel.


What did you like about "Knives Out"?


I liked how the movie mixed the classic murder mystery style with a modern touch. The actors did a great job, and the story had a good balance of funny moments and suspense. The details, surprising turns, and the detective, Benoit Blanc, were all things that made the mystery really enjoyable.


What didn't you like about the mystery genre in "Knives Out" that you might not use in your project?


While "Knives Out" did mystery well, the big cast and complex plot might not fit what I want for my mystery project. Also, the movie had some funny parts, which might not match the serious and mysterious mood I'm aiming for. I might go for a simpler and more serious approach for my own mystery.

My name is Blake Dashnaw, and I live in an apartment with my father and dog. My father initially introduced me to technology pretty early; when I was eight I got my first I pad. Production Blog: Compiling Our Scenes

Today marked the climax of our editing odyssey! Before putting the finishing touches on our project, we decided to capture some extra scenes just as a safety net. It was a thrilling opportunity to venture beyond our usual filming spots and add some fresh elements to our story. Opting for my mom's spacious van for the car scenes turned out to be a brilliant move. Its generous space accommodated all our equipment and crew with ease. Filming inside the van was an absolute riot! We couldn't resist goofing around and having a blast while getting those last shots. After wrapping up our filming session, we treated ourselves to a leisurely lunch break to refuel before diving back into our editing tasks. The afternoon flew by as we polished off the remaining shots in just an hour. With some daylight left, we indulged in some relaxing fishing, taking advantage of the serene waters as the perfect backdrop for additional footage.
