Final Task - Our Pitch

Image
Pitch A: A little boy named Tom was walking home one day, while a mysterious man watches him. Will he make it home safely before he gets kidnapped? Pitch B: The neighborhood park seemed quiet and peaceful, until someone took a step towards the shadows. What will they think once they discover the true mystery about their park? Pitch A Discussion: This story is about a little boy who gets kidnapped. We want to do this because it seems like a fun and creative choice. We've already planned out a perfect place to do it, in a dark street with only one light. We already had some very good ideas on incorporating credits, and all have our roles shifted into place for it. I believe this pitch would be a perfect idea once we think of all the aspects, and would definitely like to perform this. Pitch B Discussion: This story is about a seemingly normal park, it seems safe and clean. However, its secretly a hub for crime in the city. This is where major crime deals are made and plans are formed.

Final Task - Group Blog

In my final task project, I've decided to collaborate with three of my friends in the class with me: Tom, Ben, and Nicholas. They have been good friends of mine for a while, and I believe we will work together nicely. I'm excited to see how this project pans out, and believe that the final showing of our collaboration will be a pleasant outcome. It is true that I could have chosen to work on this project alone. However, I believe that working with Tom, Ben, and Nicholas will be beneficial, as they can assist with the props and filming aspects while I focus on the majority of the editing. They all have decent knowledge of filmmaking and video recording. I expect their filming to be great and easily editable to compose a profound workpiece. I also believe that the working routine we have in mind will work out perfectly, as I have the most knowledge in editing, and they have more expertise in actual filming. Combining our skills together should create a nice flow between all of us

Final Task - Introduction

My name is Blake Dashnaw, and I live in an apartment with my father and dog. My father initially introduced me to technology pretty early; when I was eight I got my first I pad. Soon enough the time came to where my father taught me how to build computers and one of my own, and that allowed me to perceive the depths of the video filming and editing world. I'm very grateful for the opportunities I was given at an early age, as they allowed me to learn and understand what I know today. I play video games often with friends and also love watching movies. I also have a dog, named Dash. He's very smart and usually behaves really well. I've taken care of him since the age of 11, and have been his primary caretaker ever since. He is also an Australian Shepherd, which means he always needs a lot of exercise. Taking care of him has been a very fundamental responsibility for me, as it allows me to grasp the aspect of having to take care of something every single day. I appreciate bo
