Production Blog - Scheduling

Hey everyone, I'm back with another blog! This one is about how we planned out our filming and editing schedule. We decided it would be a good idea to film early. So, me and my group members decided that the first step was that we all understood our parts of the script. We all had joined a call one night, and spent about 2 hours reviewing and understanding our scripts fully. We discussed our lines, actions, and camera shots. Eventually, we all came to an agreement on everything. The next thing we needed to plan was our time and dates for shooting and filming. Ben and Nicolas were available the first weekend of February, but me and Tom weren't able to make it those times. We rescheduled however, to a later date that the all of us could make it to. The third weekend of February being the date we all agreed upon, and filmed throughout then and the following Monday since there was no school. Luckily, one of my group members Ben had gained his license this week as well, making it easily available for us to travel wherever we need for the project. We first filmed the exterior shots, and the more general things that were simple. Once the scene began to shift, we all went inside and the camera follows through the doorway. All the props had fit how we needed them to. Some of the shots we took were blurry, so we had to re do them. There was also glaring on some of the glass and reflecting materials, so we made sure to note that in editing we will have to dim out some of this. Overall this process was very fun, and I definitely learned a lot from this. We had all agreed that we'd done enough work for the rest of the day, and would resume filming at a later date. Then we played on the Xbox and hanged out for a bit before I got dropped off home.
